Alexander D. Evans

Alex Evans is a Partner at Atairos. He joined Atairos after serving as the Executive Vice President of Global Corporate Development and Strategy for Comcast. In this role, he led Comcast-NBCUniversal’s strategic business initiatives and managed its merger and acquisitions efforts.

Prior to joining Comcast, Alex spent 17 years at Providence Equity Partners, where he led investments in and was a board director responsible for the firm’s investee companies in North America, Europe and South America. He most recently served as a Managing Director and head of the firm’s New York office as well as the Global Co-Head of the Communications Sector. Alex also served on the Investment and Portfolio Review Committees at Providence.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Antares Auto-Tune and Opry Entertainment Group, as well as an Observer to the Board of Directors of GeoComply. Alex also serves as a trustee of Collegiate School and as the Treasurer of The Ivy 1879 Foundation.

Alex received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.
